COVID-19 Vaccine Information

The Virginia Department of Health has created a website to allow people to register for the COVID-19 Vaccination. Please follow this link for more information or type in “vaccinate.virginia.gov” in your search bar.

As of close of business this evening, Oyster Point Family Practice had not been contacted by the Virginia Department of Health regarding the COVID-19 vaccine. 

We do not anticipate that we will be receiving the vaccine for administration to our patients at this time or in the near future. In the unlikely event that these circumstances change, we will notify our patients through updates to our social media platforms and this website. 

We respectfully request that you please do not call our office to inquire only about the availability of the vaccine. The staff has this exact same information and unnecessary calls prevent other patients from being able to access the office personnel to schedule necessary appointments with their providers, request medication refills, and speak with staff members to resolve other medical concerns or receive required assistance.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding! We realize that this is a very concerning and important issue for everyone and there is a great deal of misinformation about this topic.
