OPFP is Closed For the Day, Now What?

Always remember, for true, life-threatening emergencies, call 911! 

Do not wait for us to call back!

While we are closed, if you are an OPFP patient and you should have a non-emergent, but still urgent and time-sensitive medical issue arise that requires you speak with an OPFP Medical Provider, please call our office at (757) 873-2000. The recording will prompt you to leave a message for the OPFP Provider-on-Call. Please include ALL requested information in your message including the reason you need to speak with the Provider, the patient’s date of birth and a phone number where the Provider will be able to reach you. The Provider-on-Call for Oyster Point Family Practice will return your call shortly. Please remember this process is for NON-EMERGENT, but still urgent, medical concerns ONLY! Thank you for your cooperation with this process!

Medication Refills After-Hours

Medication refills will not be handled by the physicians on call except in extreme cases. Please contact the office during normal business hours to request medication refills. Please plan ahead for your prescription refills and talk to your doctor or nurse during business hours.
